20th Century Fox has purchased the film rights to the long-running kids’ show Sesame Street.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Shawn Levy (Real Steel) will produce the feature. The Sesame Workshop will be involved as producers too.
There are no further details on the project.
Sesame Street first began in 1969, and ever since has been the mailing address of Jim Henson’s finest creatures, such as Big Bird, Cookie Monster, and Elmo.
