Jena Malone has scored a key role in Francis Lawrence‘s Hunger Games sequel, Catching Fire.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actress is in talks to play former Hunger Games winner Johanna Mason; a character with even greater significance in the third instalment of Suzanne Collins’ YA saga, Mockingjay.
Shooting starts late September, with Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, and Liam Hemsworth all reprising their roles from the original.
