Edgar Wright and J.J. Abrams will team up as producers for a new sci-fi drama entitled Collider, Deadline reports.
Wright (Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Shaun of the Dead) will direct the film and share co-writing credit with Mark Protosevich (Thor, I Am Legend). He will also co-produce along with Abrams through his Bad Robot Productions, and Nira Park through Big Talk Productions.
While plot details are nonexistent at this early stage, the film will be made for Paramount and is based on an original idea conceived by Wright.
There is no time frame for when this film will come about, with Wright tied up filming The World’s End next, reuniting with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. He’s also working on Ant-Man, a Marvel film he’s attached to direct. But with such a talented team behind this film, you can guarantee it’ll be one to watch out for.
For sure, havent seen a bad film from this guy yet. And having Simon Pegg and Nick Frost involved only sweetens the deal.
