Vince Vaughn bringing The Brady Bunch back to TV

Here’s the story… about the time Vince Vaughn tried to reboot The Brady Bunch.

According to Deadline, Vaughn wants to bring the famed family back to TV screens. Well, at least one of the members.

Raising Hope‘s Mike Mariano is writing the script, in which divorced father Bobby Brady (the youngest son of the original series) marries a woman with her own children. They also have another child together. In a twist on the original show, their exes will also appear.

Vaughn is executive producing the multi-camera sitcom for CBS, based on Sherwood Schwartz iconic comedy that ran from 1969-1974.

Discuss: Could it work?

  1. What the heck? Such a bad idea. The Brady family’s enduring charm is their on-screen portrayal of perfection. Didn’t Vaughn get the memo…if Brady Brides didn’t work, this sure won’t.
