The only thing more resilient than the perpetually-haunted and currently-possessed Katie, it’s the Paranormal Activity franchise itself.
A fourth instalment is set to hit cinemas this October, and a brand new trailer has been released to remind us that there are plenty of ways for people to film themselves in spooky scenarios.
After last year’s 80s set prequel, we return to the current day, where another family finds themselves tormented by the playful supernatural monster. This time, seems the cinematographic novelty will involve Skype!
The Paranormal Activity franchise is certainly serving up diminishing returns, but it’s still a barrel of fun. Though this teaser isn’t nearly as freaky as the one for its predecessor, I remain excited.
Paranormal Activity 4, directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman (Catfish, Paranormal Activity 3), arrives in Australian cinemas October 18, 2012.
