Following the success of their live-action/CGI hybrid Smurfs movie, Sony has snapped up the rights to ’80s TV show ALF.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, producer Jordan Kerner will similarly develop the tale of an alien living in the American suburbs as a live-action/CGI family flick.
ALF’s original puppeteer Paul Fusco will produce, and is expected to voice the character once more.
There is no writer or director yet attached to the project.
Sure, I could google it, but why don’t you just tell me what happened to the actors who played the human family in the show. Is it like Diff’rent Strokes where nearly everyone had an unhappy life?
Not fit for print here, I’m afraid. Have fun out there…
Okay, you’ve convinced me to turn away from my work here on a Friday afternoon and spend some time Googling. 🙂
