Safe House sequel in the works

Universal has recruited Safe House screenwriter David Guggenheim to pen a sequel to his hit Ryan Reynolds/Denzel Washington thriller.

According to Deadline, “it’s far from a sure thing,” but the hit-hungry studio is surely hoping the leads would want to return, even though (spoiler alert) one of them doesn’t survive to the closing credits.

Did someone say, voodoo magic?
