Daniel Craig set for two more Bond movies

Daniel Craig will not bow out as Bond with Sam Mendes‘ Skyfall, Deadline reports.

Craig will return for two further adventures at least, seeing him play 007 in the 24th and 25th instalments of the ongoing saga.

This will make him the third-longest serving Bond actor in the franchise’s history.

Sony Pictures and MGM will continue to co-finance both flicks.

Discuss: Glad to see more Craig, or is it time for another actor to take over?

  1. I am happy to see DC remain in the role of Bond for as long as he wants it.

    When I saw ‘Layer Cake’ at a preview I came out thinking that if he was not the next Bond then the producers were not doing their jobs.

    Having seen all DC’s Bond outings I am satisfied that my first thoughts have been fully vindicated.

    My ratings as the top 4 Bonds in order are;

    Sean Connery
    Daniel Craig
    Pierce Brosnan
    George Lazenby – Had he been given the opportunity of more than one outing he could be higher on the list. He had the unenviable task of stepping into Connery’s shoes and I sometimes wonder if he was only ever employed as a one flick Bond to provide a buffer between Connery and Moore.
