Farrelly brothers “almost done” with script for Dumb and Dumber To

The long-awaited Dumb and Dumber sequel has a confirmed title, with the Farrelly brothers announcing on Twitter it will be called Dumb and Dumber To.

Approaching the twenty year anniversary of the first film, fans eagerly awaited the confirmation of a sequel starring both Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels (ignoring the awful Dumb and Dumberer – When Harry Met Lloyd starring Eugene Levy, which you’d be forgiven for having not seen).

When Carrey reportedly pulled out of the project back in June it didn’t look like the film would go ahead. Then, the Farrelly brothers recently Tweeted, “You also might be interested to know that we are almost done with the Dumb and Dumber To (sic) script. I think you’re going to like it.”

While Carey and Daniels are yet to officially sign on for the sequel, chances are if the script holds up Harry and Lloyd will be returning to a cinema near you.
