Ewan McGregor Australia-bound for Son of a Gun

Ewan McGregor has been cast in the upcoming West Australian production Son of a Gun, Inside Film reports.

The Scot will head to WA in early 2013 for the shoot.

Writer-director Julius Avery makes his feature debut with the flick, which tells of a master thief who recruits a protégé for a gold heist.

It does not yet have a release date.
