John Logan writing Bond 24 and 25

Deadline recently revealed that superstar Hollywood screenwriter John Logan has been tapped by the Bond producers to write the next two films, possibly as an arc.

Early reports for the upcoming Skyfall are about as glowing as humanly possible, so it’s no surprise that the film’s producers are locking down further films.

John Logan’s resume is pretty impressive, including Gladiator, Hugo, The Last Samurai, The Aviator and plenty more. What is most surprising is the rumour that he will be writing a two-film arc. This will be the first time a single story will span two separate Bond films and it possibly will end Daniel Craig’s run as Bond.

It’s certainly a bold idea to do an epic, two-film, Bond story. Whether it’s a ‘good‘ idea is yet to be seen.
