Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig to play The Skeleton Twins

Former Saturday Night Live cast-mates Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig are set to star as siblings in upcoming indie drama The Skeleton Twins, Variety reports.

The duo will star as estranged twins Milo and Maggie, who reunite after coincidentally and narrowly avoiding death on the same day.

Anna Faris was formerly attached to play Hader’s sis in the movie, but has since been replaced by Wiig.

Though Hader is still on SNL, Wiig last left season following her big screen success and Oscar nomination for Bridesmaids.

They previously played a married couple in Adventureland.

Craig Johnson will direct from a script co-written by Mark Heyman.
