Quentin Tarantino was once offered Green Lantern

Did you know that Quentin Tarantino was approached to direct the Green Lantern film? In an interview published on Deadline, Tarantino revealed he was offered the project “in the very early, early, early, early stages.”

Tarantino spoke of being proud to have stuck to his guns and not taken on any of the myriad big Hollywood projects he has been offered over the years. The Man From UNCLE was also revealed to be a long gestating project that Tarantino was constantly in and out of making.

For years it seems that Tarantino has resisted big Hollywood projects and from the sounds of things he seems as disinterested as ever in the idea, although the prospect of a Tarantino James Bond film seems still in the air.
