Kristen Wiig might play Brick’s love interest in Anchorman 2

Brick Tamland may have a love interest in Anchorman 2 far prettier than any lamp.

The Wrap says Kristen Wiig is being courted to star opposite Steve Carell in the flick.

Seeing as the script is still being written and the cast is not yet finalised, we may not get confirmation on this for a while.

Still, seeing Wiig team up with the Channel 4 News Team is an exciting prospect.

Anchorman 2 definitely stars, however, Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, David Koechner, Christina Applegate, and Carell. Adam McKay directs.
