The 10 things we want in J.J. Abrams‘ Star Wars. By Simon Miraudo.
J.J. is graduating from Star Trek to Star Wars. It was recently announced that the Bad Robot impresario would helm Episode 7 for Disney and Lucasfilm, ending months of speculation as to who future generations could blame for the disintegration of the Star Wars brand. So, as George Lucas leaves to rest on his laurels – taking talk of trade tariffs with him, we pray – in comes Abrams to revitalise the saga. Looking through his diverse résumé from the past decade, here are the top 10 things we’d like to see him pull out of his Mystery Box for the upcoming space adventure. Abrams, “make it so.” Whoops! Sorry, wrong franchise.
