Ellen Page directing Anna Faris in Miss Stevens

Ellen Page is set to make her directorial debut with the dramedy Miss Stevens, Deadline reports.

Anna Faris will star in the picture as a school teacher with problems at home.

She finds inspiration through her kids while away at a weekend drama competition.

The script comes from Julia Hart.

Miss Stevens will be produced by the teams behind former Best Picture nominees (and modest independent hits) The Kids Are All Right and Winter’s Bone.

It is unknown if Page will also appear in the film.

She will next be seen in Lynn Shelton’s Your Sister’s Sister follow-up, Touchy Feely, as well as the thriller The East.
