Check out Ricky Gervais in The Muppets … Again!

Ricky Gervais and everyone’s favourite King Prawn Pepe appear together in a promotional video for the upcoming The Muppets … Again!

While not much is said between the two – Gervais is tweeting on his phone while Pepe sighs and generally looks hilarious in a black skivvy and gold chain – it certainly whets our appetite for the sequel to the Jason Segel penned hit The Muppets.

There’s also a returning cast member, according to Empire Magazine, who confirmed the first female Muppet Show puppeteer, Louise Gold, will resurrect Annie Sue: Miss Piggy’s rival.

The film will be set in London as the Muppets take their show on tour. Kermit will run into his doppelganger, the criminal Constantine, and there’s also a rumour that Miss Piggy and Kermit will tie the knot.

James Bobin will return to directing, having co-written the screenplay with Nicholas Stoller. Tina Fey, Ty Burrell and Ray Liotta have been confirmed to join Gervais as the human element of the film.
