Argo team of Ben Affleck and Chris Terrio head to Bunker Hill

It seems Argo inspired Ben Affleck to continue covering important moments in America’s history, as Deadline reveals he recently squired the rights to a novel called Bunker Hill.

Written by Nathaniel Philbrick, the book takes us to Boston in 1775, where a clash between locals and British troops kicked off the American Revolution.

The story apparently widens to include such luminaries as George Washington and Paul Revere.

Affleck reportedly passed the project on to his Argo writer Chris Terrio, who is currently working on the screenplay.

It won’t be Affleck’s next project though, as he is more immediately working on an adaptation of Dennis Lehane’s Live By Night, which, from all accounts, seems like a rollicking prohibition-era gangster story.

Both of these projects give the impression we will be seeing Affleck standing on the Oscar stage quite frequently in the near future.
