Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore are looking to recapture that Wedding Singer – and to a lesser extent, 50 First Dates – magic with a third feature film collaboration.
According to Variety, they’ll play a couple of blind-daters who wind up at a family resort with their children from previous marriages.
Frank Coraci, director of their previous pairings, will helm the untitled flick for Warner Bros.
Sandler no doubt wants to win back audiences after the flopping of That’s My Boy, which came hot on the heels of the Razzie-scooping Jack and Jill.
Barrymore, on the other hand, hasn’t starred in a hit since 50 First Dates in 2004 (we don’t count her work in the ensemble comedy He’s Just Not That Into You).
It does not yet have a release date.
But she still makes 15 million per film.
