Trailer Debut: This Is The End (Red Band)

The red-band trailer for Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s all-star directorial debut This Is The End has arrived online.

The picture stars Rogen, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, and Jay Baruchel as themselves; the only survivors of a house-party gone catastrophically wrong.

In this new clip, we see their famous friends – namely Rihanna, a coke-snorting Michael Cera, Aziz Ansari, and Jason Segel – violently killed during an apocalyptic event. Later, while attempting to pass the time in their make-shift shelter, they’re robbed of their precious few rations by Emma Watson.

This very funny clip is for adults only, on account of all the violence and coke.

There’s a concern that the Rogen/Goldberg scripted comedy will spend its entire running time showing their celebrity pals playing against type. That may be amusing as a Funny or Die sketch, but a feature film?

We’ll find out if it works when it hits cinemas in June.
