Emily Blunt headed Into The Woods

Emily Blunt is in talks to join Johnny Depp, Meryl Streep, Chris Pine, and Jake Gyllenhaal in the upcoming screen adaptation of Into the Woods, Variety reports.

Blunt would play the lead female part of the Baker’s Wife in director Rob Marshall’s musical.

Based on Stephen Sondheim’s Broadway hit, and inspired by classic fairy tales, this twisted feature is being developed by Disney.
