Poster and Trailer Debut: 300: Rise of an Empire

This is… the poster and trailer for Noam Murro’s 300: Rise of an Empire .

Originally set for release in August, its launch was delayed until March of 2014 when Warner Bros panicked over the stacked slate of blockbuster releases during the American summer.

Though Gerard Butler is nowhere to be seen in this prequel to Zack Snyder’s 2007 hit, Lena Headey returns, fresh from her success on Game of Thrones, as does Rodrigo Santoro as Xerxes.

Aussie Sullivan Stapleton and Eva Green are series newcomers.
