John C. Reilly joins Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy

Well! Here’s an unconventional new Marvel hero.

Adorable character actor John C. Reilly will play Rhomann Dey in upcoming team-up flick Guardians of the Galaxy, a representative for the actor confirmed to The Wrap.

Dey also goes by the alias Nova Prime, leader of the Nova Corps.

Reilly joins Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Benicio Del Toro, and Glenn Close in the James Gunn directed flick, which concerns a team of alien superheroes.

Still no news as to who is playing that darn raccoon.

It hits cinemas in 2014.
