Trailer Debut: Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2, the follow-up to 2009’s surprise animated smash, has a brand new trailer positively overflowing with food puns.

Though the directors of the original, Phil Lord and Chris Miller, are gone (having graduated to live-action with 21 Jump Street), the voice cast returns.

Cloudy 2 sees Flint Lockwood (Hader) dealing with the ramifications of his food-making satellite, which is now spawning food-animal hybrids.

Cody Cameron and Kris Pearn direct, from a script by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley (Horrible Bosses, Burt Wonderstone).

It hits cinemas December 5, 2013.
