Joss Whedon returned to Comic-Con over the weekend to give Marvel’s upcoming Avengers sequel a fancy new subtitle.
Christened The Avengers: Age of Ultron, the picture takes its name from a 2013 10-issue limited series comic by Brian Michael Bendis.
In it, a mad, sentient robot named Ultron takes over Earth, leaving dead superheroes in its wake.
Though Ant-Man creates Ultron in the comic series, Whedon suggested this time around it would come from the already-established Avengers universe (Tony Stark, we’re looking at you).
That’s not the only way in which the film will differ from the comic series.
Whedon revealed that they’re merely borrowing the title, and “taking the things from the comics for the movies that we need and can use.”
The Avengers: Age of Ultron hits cinemas in 2015.
