Ryan Gosling and Zac Efron rumoured for Star Wars Episode VII

Latino Review – who are occasionally on the money when it comes to casting scoops – suggest Disney has met with both Zac Efron and Ryan Gosling for parts in Star Wars Episode VII.

Though they have no info on which character Efron went in for, they insist Gosling is being considered for Luke Skywalker’s son.

Oh, and Leonardo DiCaprio also had a meeting with Disney for a part, but ultimately passed.

Casting announcements are expected to be made by Disney at the studio’s annual D23 expo in August.
