Elizabeth Olsen wanted for Avengers sequel

Elizabeth Olsen is being considered for the part of The Scarlet Witch in Joss Whedon’s Avengers sequel, The Avengers: Age of Ultron.

This is according to Bleeding Cool, whose sources suggest Marvel has been courting the Martha Marcy May Marlene star ever since Saoirse Ronan passed on the role.

Scarlet Witch is one of two new heroes who’ll be added to the all-star team. Aaron Taylor-Johnson has confirmed he’s in contention to play Quicksilver, brother of The Scarlet Witch.

The Avengers: Age of Ultron hits cinemas 2015.
