Michael K. Williams joins Spike Lee’s Kickstarted Da Blood of Jesus

Omar is in Da Blood Of Jesus!

Spike Lee has excitedly announced Michael K Williams (The Wire, Boardwalk Empire) will join the cast of his recent Kickstarter funded mystery project.

Lee managed to generate $1.4 million (more than his target of $1.25 million) through crowdfunding, with nothing more than an obscure concept.

All we know is that the film will be a “semi-genre” piece following a group of people who are addicted to blood (but are not vampires).

Along with the announcement that Williams is entering the fold, Lee dropped the title on us: Da Blood Of Jesus.

I have no idea what the hell kind of film Lee is making but he certainly has my attention.
