Now You See Me, the unexpected hit of the season, has a sequel on the way, and director Louis Leterrier will return to helm it, Coming Soon reports.
Smashing box offices around the world, Now You See Me has reminded studios that audiences don’t necessarily need giant robots or mass urban carnage to have a good time.
Leterrier, who has done his fair share of that in the past with Clash Of The Titans and The Incredible Hulk, knows when he’s onto a good thing.
He has already added 16 minutes of footage to the US DVD release and claims the film was always conceived to be at the very least a “diptych.”
The end felt pretty conclusive to me but hey, bring on the continuing adventures of our crazy band of magician bank robbers.
