The Canyons director Paul Schrader “disappointed” in Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay Lohan

Director Paul Schrader has taken to Facebook to express his disappointment in Lindsay Lohan for not adequately promoting their new film, faux-exploitation erotic drama The Canyons.

According to his post, Schrader is “mystified and disappointed by LL’s refusal to support The Canyons,” citing the fact she is a producer and “25% owner” of the product.

Here are just some of the things Lohan failed to do, according to Paul. Here is a blanket (sic) for all the typos and grammatical errors featured below.

“She never showed for the photo sessions, including the session for the ad campaign art.

“Richard Brody of the New Yorker wanted too do a appreciative profile but somehow she didn’t have time to meet him.

“Film Comment gave her the cover but she would not give them an interview.

“I shifted the film’s European premiere from Locarno to Venice so she could make her promised post-rehab appearance. But she did not show.”

Now, why in the world wouldn’t Lohan want to promote the movie in which she stars opposite porn star James Deen?

“She was never comfortable working with James Deen and perhaps this still sticks in her craw. I assume those closet to her, her family and reps, had advised her to treat Canyons as an indiscretion.”

Or maybe she’s just busy with her next – and only – project, an eight-part doc-series based on her life.
