Aussie Margot Robbie in consideration for Fantastic Four

Aussie Margot Robbie is having a very good year, starring in Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street and popping up in Richard Curtis’ About Time.

She could transition to big-time-movie-star status should she score the role of Sue Storm in Fox’s upcoming Fantastic Four reboot.

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

According to Variety, Fox is testing a bunch of hot young actors for the key roles, and Robbie is up against the likes of Saoirse Ronan and Kate Mara to play the invisible heroine.

Alison Williams was previously thought to be up for the part.

Kit Harington (Game of Thrones), Jack O’Connell, and Miles Teller are in line for the part of Mr. Fantastic, Reed Richards.

Michael B. Jordan remains the only actor to have been linked to The Human Torch, Johnny Storm.

No news as to who might play The Thing, Ben Grimm.
