Trailer Debut: Mia Wasikowska’s ‘Tracks’

Tracks

Mia Wasikowska goes walkabout in the trailer for her new film, Tracks.

Directed by John Curran, it details the true trek of Robyn Davidson (played by Wasikowska) across the Australian desert following the dissolution of her marriage and death of her mother.

Adam Driver (Girls) stars the National Geographic photographer who captured her journey.

The cinematography here is quite spectacular, and the use of M83’s ‘Outro’ as its soundtrack makes for an interesting (and effective) marriage of sight and sound.

Here’s hoping the final product is just as effective.

Originally scheduled to debut in October, it will now hit Australian cinemas March 6, 2014.
