Amanda Seyfried thinks ‘He’s F***ing Perfect’

Amanda Seyfried is set to flex her funny bone again in the comedy He’s F***ing Perfect, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The film will be produced by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay, the man behind Ferrell’s Step Brothers and Anchorman films. The screenplay was written by McKay’s former assistant Lauryn Kahn and was picked up in a million-dollar deal back in 2011.

While Emma Stone was once circling the project, Seyfried will now play the pessimistic-about-love woman who researches her friend’s boyfriends online to determine whether or not they are worthy.

Trouble arises when she convinces her friend to break up with a new boyfriend so she can have him for herself, even turning herself into his perfect match using her “social media savvy.”

Jake Szymanski, who has a background in television and Funny or Die skits, is set to direct. This coupled with Kahn’s lack of experience signals the project could go either way, but with such experience on the producing end, this comedy has potential.
