One Ant-Man… two Ant-Mans?!
Marvel has cast Michael Douglas as Hank Pym in Edgar Wright’s long-gestating Ant-Man movie.
The news comes one day after Douglas scored a Golden Globe for his work in Steven Soderbergh’s Behind the Candelabra.
Pym, in Marvel Comics lore, was the first scientist to shrink to the size of an insect and fight crime as Ant-Man.
Paul Rudd will be the film’s official Ant-Man, however, playing Scott Lang, a reformed thief who uses the technology developed by Pym.
The film is set to hit cinemas July 2015.
