Hold onto your hat (or, rather, the safety straps of your home-made sexual gratification harness): Nymphomaniac has an Australian release date.
Distributor Transmission Films has announced they will release both parts of Lars von Trier’s controversial sex drama as one epic instalment on March 20, 2014.
That means both Volume I and Volume II will be screened as a single four-hour feature.
The first half of the saga opened in parts of Europe over Christmas and screened at Sundance last month.
It stars Charlotte Gainsbourg as Joe, a nymphomaniac (obviously) found beaten and bloodied in an alley by Stellan Skarsgård, to whom she relates her sordid life tale.
Shia LaBeouf, Uma Thurman, Willem Dafoe, Christian Slater, Stacy Martin, and many more appear in the flick too.
