Jessica Chastain has been offered a leading role in Mission: Impossible 5, Deadline reports.
That’s pretty much the extent of Deadline’s scoop. It’s not even known if she’s likely to accept. Still, an exciting prospect.
It was revealed earlier this week that director Christopher McQuarrie and star Tom Cruise had tapped Will Staples, the writer behind Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, to retool the script.
Chastain, an Oscar nominee for The Help and Zero Dark Thirty, will next be seen in two-parter The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Him and Her.
