Man of Steel sequel officially titled ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’

For the longest time, that Man of Steel sequel has been devoid of a title, and we’ve just gone around calling it Batman vs. Superman.

Well, it seems the makers have listened, revealing the official title as Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

The Dawn of Justice part is new – and terrible – but at least they’re on front street when it comes to the unique pleasures of this Zack Snyder feature: it will feature Batman going head to head with Superman.

Sadly unmentioned in the title: Wonder Woman.

Ben Affleck will play Bats in the film, while Henry Cavill will reprise the role of Supes. Gal Gadot and Jesse Eisenberg will portray Wonder Woman and Lex Luthor, respectively.

It arrives in cinemas May 6, 2016.
