A film based on screen starlet Grace Kelly‘s early days as a princess is in the works, with producers suggesting it will be similar to The King’s Speech.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Arash Amel’s script Grace of Monaco has been picked up by producer Pierre-Ange Le Pogam, with filmmakers chomping at the bit to bring her tale to the screen.
Despite Kelly’s storied life, the picture is specifically concerned with a six month period in 1962 in which the new princess “maneuvered behind the scenes to save Monaco from a coup”.
Surely it has to be January Jones.
