The first trailer for Snow White and the Huntsman has appeared online and poses the question, who is the fairest of them all?
The Rupert Sanders directed fantasy stars Charlize Theron, Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth, who all get their fair share of screen time in this teaser. If there were any doubts after the banner release this week that the film would fail to hit the right marks then this trailer should quell them.
Theron nails the evil queen whilst Hemsworth shows off his muscles and Stewart gets in some action without any dialogue. While it seems too easy to compare Snow White with the visual style of Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland – especially when the words “from the producer of Alice in Wonderland” appear on screen – the similarities are obvious.
And though Stewart doesn’t appear to be fairer than Theron, this trailer does whet the appetite for this fairytale adaptation.
Snow White and the Huntsman arrives in Australian cinemas June 21, 2012.
