First look at Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer in The Lone Ranger

The first image of Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer in action as Tonto and The Lone Ranger has arrived online, courtesy of producer Jerry Bruckheimer’s Twitter account.

For a while there it seemed Gore Verbinski‘s super-expensive The Lone Ranger would never actually make it to the big screen, but lo and behold, visual evidence that people are actually working on this thing.

The $215 million flick is slated for a May 2013 release. William Fichtner, Tom Wilkinson, Ruth Wilson, and Helena Bonham Carter also star.
