There was a time when it didn’t seem Gore Verbinski’s ambitious, super-expensive Lone Ranger would ever see the light of day.
Though Disney eventually gave it the green light, and production is now almost completed, we still won’t see Verbinski’s dream version of the project.
Jack White was originally confirmed to compose music for the film, but he has walked away due to “scheduling conflicts.”
According to IndieWire, Hans Zimmer will now score the Johnny Depp/Armie Hammer western.
The film hits cinemas July 2013.
