Sony has registered a number of website domains for the hit PS3 video game The Last of Us, suggesting they’re getting ready to make a film adaptation.
IGN advises us to take this with a “giraffe-sized grain of salt,” and it’s probably good advice.
Still, Sony’s online brand protection agency MarkMonitor purchasing the domains “TheLastOfUs-Movie.com” and “TheLastOfUsMovie.net” with a Sony Pictures email address does suggest some kind of movement on their end.
The video game concerns an older man named Joel and a young teenage girl called Ellie escaping from monstrous hordes in a future dystopia.
