Supanova, the number 1 Australian pop-culture expo, is returning for another year. It touches down in Brisbane this weekend, will hit Melbourne next weekend and will arrive in Sydney and Perth in June.
For those unfamiliar with Supanova, it’s an annual haven for all things geektastic – from your favourite TV shows and movies, to games, comics, books, music, internet sites and more. There are exclusive screenings, interactive competitions and product launches from all over the world. Most importantly, it’s the perfect forum for Australian creative talent to unite.
The expo hits Brisbane and Melbourne first; guests include Mary McDonnell (Battlestar Galactica) Alex Meraz (The Twilight Saga), James Marsters (Buffy), Karl Urban (Star Trek), Gareth David-Lloyd (Torchwood), Corin Nemec (Stargate SG-1), Larry Bagby (Buffy) as well as directors Peter and Michael Spierig (Daybreakers) and producer Chris Brown (The Proposition) among many others.
The line-up for Sydney and Perth includes Chaske Spencer (The Twilight Saga), Felicia Day (Dr. Horrible), Lou Ferrigno (The Incredible Hulk), Jodelle Ferland (The Twilight Saga), Michael Winslow (Police Academy) and more.
