Footage from Pixar’s Toy Story franchise seems custom made to be mashed up in a variety of hilarious, and occasionally inappropriate, ways.
This morning we were treated to an inventive mash-up from Screen Rant’s Mike Eisenberg, who combined the trailer for Toy Story 3 with that for Christopher Nolan‘s Inception. The result? Comme Ça:
Not too shabby, especially considering he only had 150 seconds of Toy Story 3 footage to work with.
However, it doesn’t quite compare with two of our all-time favourite Toy Story trailer mash-ups.
First up, here is Toy Story 1 and 2 getting down and dirty with another film from the Nolanverse, The Dark Knight.
Next, a somewhat disturbing combination, in which the TS crew finds themselves caught in Darren Aronofsky‘s nightmarish Requiem for a Dream (NOT for kiddies – seriously).
On a similar note, did you notice the similarities between Pixar’s Up and Gran Torino? This mash-up simplifies things:
Yeah, these are pretty much amazing.
