Olivia Wilde might play notorious porn star

Olivia Wilde is considering starring as Deep Throat “actress” Linda Lovelace in an upcoming biopic directed by esteemed Oscar winners Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman (The Life and Times of Harvey Milk, Howl).

Speaking to E!, Wilde revealed that she was in talks to appear in the film, but had not yet signed on.

“I’m being very careful about my next project since I’m now in a position where I can be really picky—thank God, finally.”

She seems to be intrigued by Lovelace however, who remains one of the most famous porn-stars in history:

“It would be a tremendous honour…It’s such a cool role. She was a fascinating woman with where she came from to Deep Throat to then working with Gloria Steinem and Nora Ephron. It’s really fascinating.”

Late last year it was revealed that Malin Akerman would star as Lovelace in a separate biopic, titled Inferno, replacing Lindsay Lohan.
