The Australian trailer for Lynne Ramsay‘s Cannes hit We Need to Talk About Kevin has debuted online.
Although it’s pretty much a replica of the UK trailer, this one comes with the official Australian release date (November 17, 2011!) tagged at the end. Besides, this trailer is so gorgeously chilling, it’s worth seeing again anyway. Just don’t expect to enjoy Buddy Holly’s Everyday in a joyful manner ever again.
We couldn’t be more excited to see Tilda Swinton and John C. Reilly do their thing in this adaptation of Lionel Shriver’s controversial book about a troubled young teenager. The question is, will Ezra Miller‘s Kevin be fully rounded? He certainly seems creepy … but does his character exist in the real world, or would he fit in better in a horror movie? If you’ve read the book, please tell us in the comments section whether Miller has Kevin down pat.
Check out the trailer!
So, that Australian release date again: November 17, 2011.
I’d need to see more of the film before I cd say that he’s got him down pat.
Its a chilling book, very chilling, Kevin is one sick guy. The father is useless.
