The poster for Ridley Scott’s sorta-kinda-not-really Alien prequel Prometheus has debuted online (courtesy of Coming Soon).
It certainly captures the vibe of previous Alien posters without giving the game away completely. We’re not even sure if this movie has aliens in it. We do know that it features a giant head, so at least that’s something.
Here’s the official plot synopsis:
“Visionary filmmaker Ridley Scott returns to the genre he helped define, creating an original science fiction epic set in the most dangerous corners of the universe. The film takes a team of scientists and explorers on a thrilling journey that will test their physical and mental limits and strand them on a distant world, where they will discover the answers to our most profound questions and to life’s ultimate mystery.”
Hopefully it’ll all become clear when it hits cinemas June 2012. Prometheus stars Michael Fassbender, Noomi Rapace, Logan Marshall-Green, Charlize Theron and Idris Elba.
