J.J. Abrams, forever setting up intriguing projects, has recruited Oscar-winning scribe Dustin Lance Black (Milk) to write a new disaster film by the name of Earthquake.
According to Deadline, this Universal production is not a remake of the 1974 flick of the same name.
As with most Abrams joints, details are scarce. Still, the title gives us a fairly good indication of what it shall concern, and the talent involved excites us.
Abrams will, obviously, produce under Bad Robot Productions.
Discuss: Can you imagine Black working on a big-budget action epic?
