A teaser trailer for the Veronica Mars movie was screened at Comic-Con over the weekend, delighting attendees (who likely paid for the flick themselves on Kickstarter).
After a few minutes of behind-the-scenes footage featuring creator/writer/director Rob Thomas and stars Kristen Bell, Enrico Colantoni, Jason Dohring, Tina Majorino, and Ryan Hansen, we get our first look at the feature itself.
A teen P.I. no longer, Veronica is now a professional lawyer. She heads back to her home town of Neptune for a school reunion where she encounters former flames and old enemies. Then, a crime!
The Veronica Mars movie banked $5.7 million from Kickstarter donations earlier in the year, making it the most successful project ever hosted on the crowd-funding website.
It will receive a limited engagement in U.S. cinemas sometime in 2014, arriving on our shores soon after.
