‘Mission: Impossible 5’ set to open Christmas Day, 2015

Mission: Impossible 5 is now as official as it gets (well, shy of it actually existing). Paramount and Skydance Productions have announced its release date: December 25, 2015.

That means the latest entry in Tom Cruise’s increasingly popular spy franchise will open one week after Star Wars Episode VII, the latest Dan Brown adaptation, Inferno, and Universal’s Warcraft.

As if the field weren’t crowded enough, Kung Fu Panda 3 shares M:I5‘s Christmas release date.
